Please note: All Rangers Hockey Development programs require players to provide their own full equipment. This includes, but is not limited to: a CSA-approved helmet with full face mask, skates, hockey stick, neck guard, shoulder pads/chest protector, elbow pads, gloves, hockey pants, shin guards, protective cup, jersey, and hockey socks. Excellent Ice does not have any equipment for loan or rental.
Rangers Hockey Development Program – Winter 2026/2027
Give your child the edge this winter with the Excellent Ice Rangers Hockey Development Program. Players receive 23 weekly 1-hour skill development practices running from September through March, plus a Rangers hoodie and practice jersey. The program also includes a Skate & Score Clinic, a 3-day session offered both in winter and spring. Darin Vetterl
Darin Vetterl is a Level 4 USA Certified Coach and has been the Head Instructor at Excellent Ice since 2006. He has coached players of all ages and skill levels from Minor Hockey, Junior, to University players. Throughout his over 30 years of coaching and training experience, he has coached hockey players throughout Vancouver, USA, and Australia. Darin continues to put programs together that fit the needs of all players in our community.
