Ringette Skills and Power Skating
Tuesdays and Thursdays (August 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th)
3:30-4:30 7-9 Years Old
4:40-5:40 10-13 Years Old
12 students maximum per session
Pre-Req: Need to have passed level 4 skating
Focuses of the camp: power skating techniques, ringette skill development, defensive and offensive strategies, teamwork, scrimmage time, and fun!
Katie has played and been involved with ringette for over 10 years. She had played for SWRRA for 7 year and has currently playing for FVRA for the last 3. She has part of the BC winter games team, LMRA AA development team, and won provincials with her FVRA team 2 years ago. Katie has been helping coach ringette since she was 10 years old, and spent the last 3 years teaching skating lessons with Trina Jackson. She has her NCCP level 2 and a valid standard first aid and emergency first aid.
Emma is an experienced skater and has been involved in skating for 10 years. She has played ringette since she was 6 years old and has a strong love for the sport. She has participated in a team that traveled to Finland, won provincials with a U19 team 2 years ago and became Western Canadian Champions with team Kelowna in March 2016. Emma has helped multiple teams at developing their goalies and players skating skills and she always comes with a positive attitude to help others.
